Get your students enjoy your English lesson today: play
Elle King´s "X’s & Oh’s".
Let them listen to the
song and follow the lyrics. Then the images will help
them find out the missing words and by listening a second time they will
choose the right one.
Just at the end, after a few more times, they will be able
to write the missing words in the last slide.
If your students are A2/B1 or over, this is the listening exercise for them.
By means of this teaching resource, your students will not only develop their listening skills, they will grasp new words and activate their passive vocabulary in context, as well. They will also be making a choice on the basis of their grammar knowledge when having to select one of the two options.
