Few people remain seated at the end of a film to read all the lines of
the credits.
However, if you do, you will soon realize you need quite a few
minutes - such is the number of
people involved in the making of a film.
Among the credits, there is one
which has always caught my attention, and this is the one referring to
the costume designer.
There is no way we can imagine a film successful without the skillful art
and deep knowledge of a costume designer.
In this month's blog post I would like you to read about Bárbara
Elum-Baldrés, a young, and already successful costume designer, whose brilliant
career has just started.
In this presentation you can read:
Bárbara´s biography (slides 2,3,4)
Netflix Interview -only the answers- (slides 5,6,7,8,9)
Questions provided in the presentation (slides 10, 11, 12)
The task in this blog post consists of relating the questions to the
interview texts.
There are 10 questions (A,B,C,D,E,F,GH,I,J) and only 8 interview answers
(1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8).
Some of the questions may
be related to the same text.
This comprehension activity is suitable for Intermediate and
upper-intermediate learners of English, that is to say, CEFR B1 and B2.
