This blog post includes exercises suitable for Intermediate learners of English & Spanish, that is to say, CEFR B1 & B2.
The first exercise is focused on an English activity, the second one is intended for bilingual learners or students of both languages.

The past months' political events in the USA provided me with the chance of watching and listening to the news on Spanish TV channels. I couldn't help realizing the way the phrases including the word ´office´ were being translated into Spanish.
News in Spanish stating that:
1. ¨Kamala está en la oficina por primera vez¨ (Kamala is in office for the first time), or that
2. ¨Joe Biden ha jurado cargo en la oficina¨ (Joe Biden has taken his oath of office¨ or that
3¨ Trump see marcha de la Casa Blanca, finalizando cuatro años en la oficina¨ (Trump leaves the White House ending four years in office)
made me take the decision to write this blog post.
I hope you find it interesting.
