INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY 2018

#INTERNATIONAL #WOMEN'S #DAY 2018

IWD 2018

As we are approaching #International #Women's #Day or IWD, celebrated on March 8th, the blog post I am uploading today is a little tribute to some women around the world, recognized     for their achievements, no matter what nationality         they are, what culture they belong to, what their           ethnic origin is, and regardless of their economic,  social or political status.
Last year I had happened to see a film focused on an almost
unknown  Spanish woman, Isabel de Zendal, though she had devoted
most of her  life to  save thousands of people's lives.
That is why I uploaded a presentation on her and on Florence Nightingale,        on the other hand, well-known all over the world.

Today's blog post outlines the stories of 5  women, so that learners, apart from
practising different aspect of the English Language, can learn about them, their
remarkable lives their culture, their achievements.
Reading & writing tasks  are suitable for CEFR A1 & A2 (beginners & post-beginners)            students, and the tasks suggested at the end can be done by CEFR A1, A2, and
B1, B2  learners, that is to say, from beginners to intermediate and advanced learners
    of English.

Thank you for your feedback. I do appreciate it.
